Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is more gentle than deep tissue massage and better suited for people interested in achieving relaxation and tension relief.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is a deeper more intense massage intended to work away soreness, adhesions, and knots. This technique uses slow, deep guided strokes and firm pressure designed to relieve severe tension and reach below the superficial muscles. It may cause you a little discomfort or slight pain in the areas that are causing you trouble.

Tuina (Chinese massage)

Tuina (Chinese: 推拿) is form of alternative medicine similar to shiatsu. As a branch of traditional Chinese medicine, it is often used in conjunction with acupuncture, moxibustion, fire cupping & Chinese herbal medicine. The practitioner may brush, knead, roll, press, and rub the areas between each of the joints to attempt to open the body's defensive chi (wei qi) and get the energy moving in the meridians and the muscles.

Reflexology

Reflexology is the application of pressure to areas on the feet (or the hands). Reflexology is generally relaxing and may help alleviate stress. The theory behind reflexology is that areas of the foot correspond to organs and systems of the body. It can be used to complement other treatments when addressing conditions like anxiety, asthma, cancer treatment, cardiovascular issues, diabetes, headaches, kidney function, Pre-Menstrual Syndrome, and sinusitis.
